On behalf of The Hope of Survivors, you are cordially invited to attend a special conference on hope and healing from the devastation of pastoral sexual abuse and misconduct.

Speakers include: Steve & Samantha Nelson, Co-Founders of The Hope of Survivors; Tom Lemon, Chairman of the Board of The Hope of Survivors and President of the MN Conference of Seventh-day Adventists; Jennifer Schwirzer, counselor and member of the board of directors of The Hope of Survivors; Martin Weber, Communications Director for the Mid-America Union Conference of Seventh-day Adventists and member of the board of directors of The Hope of Survivors; and a special music concert by Stephanie Dawn.

Topics include: What is clergy/pastoral sexual abuse? How does this happen? Is there an imbalance? Who is vulnerable? What are the vulnerabilities? Why is this not an affair? How do we prevent this? Where is God? How to start over? How should the church respond? There will be testimonies, inspiring messages and much more!

Who can attend? This conference is primarily for adult female victims/survivors and their spouses, however, those who wish to learn more about pastoral sexual abuse and prevention are also welcome.

Cost: The conference itself is provided as a free service of The Hope of Survivors, however, there is a $40 charge per person for meals (lunch and dinner on Saturday). You are responsible for your own lodging and transportation, if necessary.
