Clement A. Murray

Clement A. Murray, otherwise known as C.A. Murray, attended Erie Community and Alliance College on a basketball scholarship, then graduated from Oakwood College with Bachelors degrees in Religion and Behavioral Science, before graduating from Andrews University with a Masters in Pastoral Ministry. He was ordained to ministry in 1979. He was also awarded a Doctor of Divinity and a Doctor of Humane Letters. He has served 30 years in the Northeastern Conference of Seventh-day Adventists, 19 years as a pastor and 12 years as Departmental Director in Communication, Sabbath School, Public Affairs and Religious Liberty.

C.A. is currently a producer for the 3ABN Today program at Three Angels Broadcasting Network (3ABN) and is married to Irma Murray, Vice-President of The Hope of Survivors Latino Division, La Esperanza de los Sobrevivients. They have two children, Kevin and Becky, and three grandchildren, Marcus, Lucy, and Garrett.

In addition to his work for the Church, he has written and produced for Fox Television, ABC and NBC, and has appeared on those networks as well as hosted a weekly TV talk program on Trinity Broadcasting for 11 years. He also wrote, produced and hosted a radio call-in talk show on WMCA radio in New York entitled “This Moment In Time” for 5 years. He has visited and preached in over 20 foreign countries; received several awards from New York City mayors Ed Koch, David Dinkins and Rudolph Giuliani; and is the author of three books (with two more in progress): Of Fallen Angels, I Will Fear No Evil, and They Shall Walk and Not Faint.

When asked why he chose to join The Hope of Survivors, C.A. replied, “As someone who has dedicated his adult life to healing and helping, I am saddened to know that there are some who have been wounded by those who share our profession but not our calling. I am a part of The Hope of Survivors because they are doing what Christ did for those who might otherwise be lost and without hope.”
