Arlagene lives in Cooranbong, New South Wales, Australia  and is currently studying to complete her degree in counselling at Christian Heritage College. She has been married to Darryl for 18 years and has two children, Kirsten and Jayden. Arlagene and Darryl are passionate in ministering to and caring for broken people and also care for foster children. Her husband is currently studying to complete his degree in ministry at Avondale College and their goal is to spend the rest of their lives serving the Lord.
 
Over the years, Arlagene has served in several different capacities in her church. She especially enjoyed her role as Women’s Ministries leader and, from this experience, found herself spending time with many unique and special women from all walks of life. She sees women as God’s priceless treasure, regardless of how broken and poor in spirit they may be. Through counselling and encouraging she has gained some insight into the various issues women struggle with everyday.
 
Arlagene sees it as a sacred honour and privilege for people to open up and share their lives with her and is very pleased to be able to volunteer for The Hope of Survivors. She is very heartfelt about the importance of the work of The Hope of Survivors as she and Darryl move into full-time ministry. They see the huge need for support, information and education of individuals and churches so lives can be mended and stronger boundaries developed for creating healthier churches and pastoral relationships in the future.
